Usually, firefox consumes too much memory, does making your computer slow. You might consider uninstalling some of its Extensions to get a better performance. But what if it still doesn't. Well here's a step by step tutorial.
Step 1

On the address bar, type in "about:config" then press enter.
Step 2

There should be a message like this that would appear.
Click on the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
Step 3

On the filter text box type in "Cache". Search for the "browser.cache.offline.enable" line.
Step 4
Double click on it to set it to false.
Step 5
Restart your firefox and enjoy a faster browsing experience.
