Lighten up your kitchen with lights and wide windows. Wide windows won't only provide you with sunlight, but it will also let in the fresh air from your backyard or garden. Be creative in choosing your lights, don't just take the old usual florescent light. And make sure that you can control the light, not too dark not to bright.
